Research
Earth and Atmospheric Sciences is a large multidisciplinary department with a highly diverse and international research program. Fields studies are conducted around the world from the high Arctic to tropical rain forests. Our faculty have established national and international reputations for excellence in teaching and research. Included in our department are four Canada Research Chairs, one Canada Excellence Research Chair.
Research in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences is focused in the following areas of interest: Solid Earth Sciences, Paleontology, Human Geography, Environmental Sciences, Atmospheric Sciences.
