Graduate Information
The Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences offers three graduate degree programs: MA, MSc, and PhD.
The following links will take you to web pages with details about aspects of the graduate programs in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. The graduate student website ATLAS has more information on how to get involved once you are in residence.
Our Department's Graduate Program Committee evaluates applications and makes decisions on admissions and financial support throughout the fall and winter terms (September through early May). We STRONGLY encourage interested students to submit their applications as early as possible. In particular, applications that are not complete (including reference letters and transcripts) by the beginning of March stand a considerably lower chance of receiving financial support than applications completed before that time.
